Nothing travels in a readable form

A mobile shredding visit is a vehicle access problem before it is anything else. The truck needs somewhere to stand within reach of the door your paper comes out of, and the boxes need a route to it that does not cross a client-facing reception.

In multi-tenant buildings that usually means a booked bay, or a slot agreed with building management. On a single-tenant site it is normally the same door the deliveries use. Either way the question is settled before the visit rather than on the morning of it.

Keeping the floor clear between visits

Most on-site arrangements are built around consoles placed where the paper is actually produced: beside print stations, in records rooms, on the floors that generate the most output. They are emptied on a rhythm agreed with you rather than whenever somebody remembers.

The rhythm is the part worth getting right. A console that fills faster than it is emptied stops being a locked container and becomes a stack of paper beside a locked container, which is the failure the whole arrangement exists to prevent.

A visit can also be booked to land with a metal or cardboard collection, so one vehicle movement covers more than one stream leaving the building.
